This exclusive architect designed property is situated on the magnificent 6th Avenue beach front in the Wilderness, home to hundreds of frolicking dolphins that swim past every morning and evening.

With panoramic views of the ocean coupled with the inviting golden beaches below, you will have the privilege of nature’s two incredible delights right on your doorstep. Breathtaking views of both the ocean and the mountains. Our home proudly boasts dramatic views guaranteed to take your breath away.

The home comprises two (2) apartments. Our comfortable double story home can be exclusively rented as an entire house (6 bedrooms) or a portion of the house, namely one of the apartments. In the event that you wish to book the entire house, please contact us to check the availability for you as this option is not available on our booking page.

Whether unwinding in the living room whilst watching dolphins frolicking in the surf, or taking a stroll along the endless unspoilt beaches or adventuring off for a lovely walk in the nearby forests, or canoeing on the lagoon, any or all of these experiences will bring you closer to nature with a distinct feeling of being intimately amongst and connected to the natural splendors of our unique South African Wilderness.

Being so centrally situated the Wilderness is an ideal location to base yourselves while exploring the many wonders of the beautiful and ever intriguing Garden Route.

SIZE OF APARTMENTS / HOUSE:

The house is divided in two, each has its own private entrance. Beluga is 250sqm which is significantly larger than Dusky at 100sqm. The two apartments are completely separate and private. You do have the option to book both the apartments and open it up as one big house with 6 bedrooms, by simply opening all the inter-leading doors.

Each apartment has 3 bedrooms and one of these rooms have a bunk bed. It is obviously not ideal for an adult to sleep on the top bed bunk bed, hence the reason that we prefer the apartments to sleep a maximum of 5 adults and 1 child, but it is not impossible for a teenager/young adult to sleep on the top bed.

GAMES ROOM:

Only available when both apartments Dusky and Beluga are booked together by the same group.

DAILY CLEANING:

Cleaning is offered at an additional minimal fee and must be arranged prior to arrival. There are no washing facilities for guests, but we provide a drying rack and an iron for each apartment. Your laundry can be done on-site should you opt for the daily cleaning service.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE:

Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and all apartments are equipped with a TV as well as hairdryers and each is fitted with an alarm system for security purposes.

Both apartments have an outdoor braai/barbeque area for a lovely eat-in experience.

KINDLY NOTE:

We do not provide swimming towels or toiletries, so kindly bring your own.

The Cot is subject to availability as there is only one available for use between both apartments

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment.

No pets are allowed.

Our home is perfectly located for avid nature lovers wanting to explore more of nature’s exquisite offerings. Not only is the weather ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, canoeing, boating, abseiling, kloofing, hang gliding or paragliding but there is also the opportunity to go for a relaxing paddle up the Serpentine or Kaaimans River or to simply enjoy the quiet and relaxing past time of fishing in the lagoon.

For those wanting something more fast paced – surfers gather together at one of the most renowned spots on our coastline, namely Victoria Bay to get in some excellent surfing just a short drive away.

For the avid golfers there is always golfing at one of the world class golf courses at Fancourt.

The Wilderness is fortunate enough to be surrounded by nature conservation forests and beaches which make it an ideal location for nature lovers wanting to explore any of the many hiking trails of various lengths and varying endurance levels.

Other towns worth visiting from the beautiful Wilderness are Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and George, each offering a unique mix of activities and sights well worth seeing. For something different visit an ostrich farm or the famous Cango caves in Oudtshoorn.

The Garden Route Mall offers a wide array of shops, restaurants & cinemas which is just a short drive away or simply relax and enjoy the tranquillity of our quaint town of Wilderness.

GENERAL

These Terms and Conditions are deemed as being accepted on receipt of payment for the booking. Dolphins on Six provides accommodation facilities of reputable standards. Clients should take note that we cannot any liability if the premises provided do not adhere to their requirements and expectations due to the following:

  1. Extreme weather conditions preventing the client from using the premises to its full potential;
  2. Clients expecting a service or premises other than as advertised on the official website of Dolphins on Six;
  3. Services or ancillary services, such as Wi-Fi, not being available due to circumstances beyond Dolphins on Six’s reasonable control, such as the breakdown or interruption of service due to the responsibility of the service provider.
  4. Clients being unreasonably demanding, such as expecting a quality of service or accommodation that an ordinary person wouldn’t reasonably expect.
  5. Any other instances where the client’s expectations have not been met if such circumstances were beyond the business’s reasonable control.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION

Dolphins on Six reserves the full right of admission at all times. All guests, including their family members or visitors, entering or residing at the premises do so entirely at their own risk. The house reserves the right to remove from its premises any guest or visitor who does not comply with these terms and conditions, causes a nuisance, disturbs the peace, is deemed to be a risk to the health and safety of others, or whose behaviour is unacceptable in the opinion of the representative of the house on duty at the relevant time.  Guests on arrival must sign the disclaimer. In the case of a group of people, a representative must sign the document on behalf of all members in the group. Proof of identity will be required upon arrival.

DISCLAIMER

Dolphins on Six has taken every reasonable precaution to ensure your enjoyment, comfort, and, especially, safety while visiting our establishment. However, you acknowledge and agree that there may be risks associated with your stay. By signing this form upon your arrival at Dolphins on Six, you accept those risks. The Proprietors (Owners), their agents, and/or their employees shall not be liable for any claims of whatever nature, including but not limited to theft, injury, loss, or damage of whatever nature, against the Proprietors, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default, negligence, or otherwise.. 

VALUABLES
Dolphins on Six/the owners do not accept any liability for the loss of or damage to any valuables or property belonging to guests or their visitors. It is, therefore, the sole responsibility of all guests to make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items before arrival at Dolphins on Six. This includes, but is not limited to, photographic equipment, laptops, or other electronic devices, jewelry, cash, and vehicles. Guests are requested to remove all items from their cars when parked outside. Also, please lock all the doors, including the balcony doors, and set the alarm when you leave the house to go out for the day.

CHILDREN

It is the duty of the guests to monitor their children; Dolphins on Six accepts no liability for any injury or loss that may occur to or on account of any conduct of the children.

DAMAGES / LOSS OF PROPERTY

Guests are not permitted to remove towels, bedding, utensils, furniture, equipment, or any items that are the property of Dolphins on Six. Dolphins on Six reserves the right to charge a guest for the replacement of items found to be missing following departure, deep cleaning, or repair of any item(s) belonging to the house damaged by the former guest or a person under such guest’s care or responsibility, either wilfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. Should Dolphins on Six suffer any loss or damages because of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred. Dolphins on Six will provide an invoice for settlement.

SMOKING
For the comfort of our guests, Dolphins on Six is strictly a non-smoking accommodation establishment, except for designated outside guest areas.

FIREARMS 
Firearms are forbidden on the premises for the safety of all.
